JUNE 2004 - GIBSON ACOUSTIC GUITAR's International Division invites Vicki to play at Solfest, one of Sicily's biggest music festivals. The show was recorded on National Italian Radio and TV. |

JULY 2004 - Vicki is the first woman invited to play as part of the 'Contemporary Fingerstyle Guitar Series' in the MONTREAL JAZZ FESTIVAL! |

JULY 2004 - Vicki is nominated 5 times in the JUST PLAIN FOLKS Music Awards...the CD, 'Vicki Genfan - Live' is up for Best Live CD, her arrangement of Marvin Gaye's, 'What's Going On' is up for Best Cover Song Arrangement, and 3 of her Instrumentals are up for Best Solo Instrumental. |

AUGUST 2004 - Vicki takes home the 2nd place trophy for her song, ELEANOR (co-written with Everett Bradley) in the NewSong Competition held in W. Virginia. Over 1400 songs were submitted and each person was judged for the song itself as well as the performance of it. You can hear ELEANOR at any of Vicki's live shows, as well as on the NEW CD, slated for a 2005 release. |

SEPTEMBER 2004 - Vicki joins England's Sally Barker (former 'Women On Stage' Colleague) for a 10 day tour in Germany. In the spirit of their musical chemistry, they come up with a stellar re-arrangement of 'Leaving on a Jet Plane'. They're hoping to do the tour again Sept. 2005 - and hoping for a CD of some of the cover tunes they'll be performing. |

SEPTEMBER 11, 2004 - Vicki is invited to take part in a special 'Suzanne Vega' weekend at the NY Catskills resort, Full Moon Resort. Suzanne reads from her new book, and shows the artwork of her late brother. |

NOVEMBER 2004 - Vicki's invited to SWITZERLAND for the first time - to perform at the WINTERTHUR Guitar Festival, honoring the 10 yr. anniversary of the famous guitar shop, 'Die Gitarre'. |
